Traditional sit-down wedding catering
At Waitakere Resort and Spa, a sit-down wedding meal is a delicious family feast. Our main reception room, The Tui Room, is the perfect space with floor- to- ceiling views out over the Waitakere Ranges and Auckland city. With a choice of round or long tables, you can decide how the room will be set up. We provide tablecloths, napkins, cutlery, glassware, menus and chair covers.
Food options on the day can be tailored for any dietary requirements, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian and Vegan – all prepared fresh in- house for your guests. The menu is a plated three-course meal with plenty of delicious options so every guest can choose their favourite bite.

Alfresco Canapes
Thinking of celebrating your wedding earlier in the day? Canapes and bubbles are a spectacular option to indulge with your guests out on the lawn or in the lounge. Canapes give you the opportunity to mingle with friends and family or to sneak away for the all-important photoshoot, but keeping everyone entertained and fed at the same time. Canapes can be organised for earlier in the day, before a full meal in The Tui Room for a full day of mouth-watering delights.
Drinks and Bar options
Waitakere Resort and Spa is fully licensed and can provide all the beverages needed for the duration of your special day. From arrival bubbles to after- dinner cocktails, we have you covered. We have packages that include all drinks for your guests for the whole day, or we can run a pay-as-you-go bar on the day, helping you keep costs down. Wine for the tables can be pre-ordered and you can choose from our extensive list of local and international vintages.
