One of the best high teas I have ever had, and I have had a more than a few. The food was fantastic, contemporary and very well priced. The views are superb even on the rainy day we had. Expansive views and atmospheric. The buildings are well kept and are charming in a retro kind of way.

My friend and I had such a fabulous weekend here. We were really pleased with the room. The view was wonderful. Even though the room itself had not been renovated or updated, it had a lovely style and feel about it. Heated floor in the bathroom was wonderful. The shower products like shampoo conditioner moisturiser etc were the best I’ve ever used in any hotel anywhere. Staff were also super helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend for a weekend away

What a gorgeous spot to dine and stay, watch the sunrise over the city from one's comfortable bed, watch the twinkling lights of the city overnight. Stunning healthy bush surrounds the property.
Food, absolute delicious. Just more vegetables please 🙏. NZ isn't generous with vegetables cooked or raw, in restaurants.
Breakfast was scrumptious! Lots of fruit.
